The reunion was packed with exciting activities and events, starting on Thursday with the first-ever Les Roches Alumni Golf Trophy, which took place at the stunning Anantara Villa Padierna golf course. The tournament brought together a great number of alumni who share a love for golf, and the players competed in a stableford system with 18 holes. The day was topped off with a delicious lunch, which provided an excellent opportunity for alumni to catch up with old friends and make new connections.
On Friday, the reunion continued with a range of campus tours and activities for alumni to enjoy. Current students, ambassadors, and Student Governance Association members alongside Les Roches Marbella Alumni Faculty showcased the beauties of campus to visiting alumni. Almost half of the alumni who visited campus for the first time were Crans Montana graduates. The interactive campus tour included the Les Roches Gastro Experience by head chef Silvio Patrucco, Housekeeping Master Class by Julia Krebs and Rocío Montero, and champagne protocol done by Miguel Merino.
After the activities, the opening of the event took place in the auditorium, where Jakub Rejchrt, a graduate of class 2023, led through the ceremony. The event was commenced with a speech by André Niedermann, the president of LRAA, highlighting the importance of the Les Roches community and introducing the current committee that holds the office until 2025. Followed by Carlos Díez de la Lastra, CEO Les Roches, Mano Soler, Les Roches Marbella Managing Director, Cristobal Garre Murcia from Marbella Town Hall, and Gordon Imrie, the co-founder of our Marbella Campus.
The biggest highlight of the day was the Mistral Beach After Party, where alumni had fun, danced, talked and wrapped up the evening by an amazing fireworks show.
Saturday was the highlight of the event, with everyone dressed up in white for the big night party. The venue for this night was the Hard Rock Hotel, where the General Manager is Ignacio Gomez-Escolar, a graduate of Les Roches Marbella. The evening was wrapped up by the most famous band on the whole Costa del Sol – Natura. Many alumni recognized the gentleman behind the drums, Mano Soler, who is a passionate rocker. Playing 5 songs made everyone feel special and dance along the music, some alumni joined Mano and his band on stage for the grand finale of "Highway to Hell" song. After this, an after-party in NU Down Town took place.
Sunday wrapped up with a BBQ party where an amazing Flamenco show was awaiting our guests as another surprise. The atmosphere was relaxed, and alumni enjoyed delicious food and drinks while reminiscing about their experiences at Les Roches.
In addition to the entertainment, the reunion was a great opportunity for alumni to reconnect and share experiences with each other. The event showcased the spirit of the Les Roches community and the strong bond that alumni have with their alma mater. It was truly inspiring to see the level of passion and dedication among the attendees, who are all successful professionals in their respective fields.
The Les Roches Global Reunion was a great success, and it left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. The event reinforced the values of the Les Roches Way of Life, and it will undoubtedly serve as a platform for alumni to continue to collaborate and connect in the future.
