The second Les Roches India Alumni get-together was held over two days in New Delhi, on 29th and 30th July 2023. The air was filled with laughter, old friendships were rekindled, and new bonds were formed, making our alumni get-together a resounding success. A total of 110 alumni attended from Singapore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Manila, Cochin, Lucknow, Amritsar, Darjeeling, Goa, Mumbai, Jakarta, Agra, New Delhi, Bangalore, Gurugram, Noida, Kuwait, and Dehradun.
The event was kicked off by an inaugural speech by Mr. Sarosh Daruwalla, followed by Mr. Indraneel Ghosh from the Swiss Embassy, who infused an international touch to the proceedings, adding an element of elegance and global connectivity to the event.
Two engaging panel discussions followed. The first panel featured hospitality experts who shared their success stories and valuable insights, leaving us motivated to strive for excellence in our own professional journeys. The panel consisted of esteemed alumni - Nikita Ramchandani, Amit Oberoi, Vikram Aditya Singh, and Kshitij Gandhi - and was skillfully moderated by Baba Chandok.
The second panel showcased F&B expertise and included Chiquita Gulati, Viraf Patel, Sumit Gulati, Kabir Moorjani, and Prahlad Sukhtankar. The insightful discussion was moderated by Vikram Aditya Singh.
The event also featured a startup-style elevator pitch where alumni showcased their businesses, startups, and success stories. Witnessing their achievements and innovations was truly inspiring, and many meaningful connections were made. Thank you to Ruchi for being a gracious master of ceremony.
A special thank you goes to all the amazing alumni who generously sponsored prizes for the raffle draw. The evening was made even more delightful with a scrumptious buffet spread and amazing drinks from the bar, provided by Alumni Rahul Arora, who hosted the event at his exquisite venue, GranDreams.
The following day, Vikram Aditya Singh hosted a fine brunch for the alumni and their families at the iconic Claridges hotel, symbolizing the spirit of generosity and hospitality that defines the Les Roches community.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rahul Arora, Vikram Aditya Singh, and their exceptional teams for their gracious hospitality at GranDreams & Claridges Hotel, providing an unforgettable weekend.
Lastly, a special mention goes out to Kanan, Ruchi, Mihir, and Baba, the India Alumni Ambassadors, for their outstanding efforts in organizing and making this event a grand success.
